Torel Palace Porto is a new boutique five star-hotel in the heart of Porto with 24 rooms and Suites. This new project by the Torel Boutiques group is housed in one of the most stunning antique palaces in Porto, the “Palacete Campos Navarro”. This typical bourgeouis Palace, dating back to 1861, is one of the most impressive and distinguished examples of the romantic architecture period in Porto. The concept of Torel Palace Porto is to honor portuguese writers and poets. Each of the 24 rooms and Suites is designed individually to reflect their works and life, among them Eça de Queiroz, Florbela Espanca and of course the perhaps best-known Portuguese writer, Fernando Pessoa. The work of another exceptional writer, José Saramago, is celebrated in our gastronomic space 'Blind'. “Blind” refers to one of Saramago´s most famous novels, 'Blindness'.
